Wreath Sale 2014

All members of the Troop are expected to contribute to the fundraising efforts of the Troop. All Scouts should be out trying their best to sell wreaths. This is what makes our major income – not the tree sale or dues.

For the 2014 Wreath Sale, we will use the same system as last year for entering orders on the troop's web site. All your orders from last year have been saved, and you will not have to re-type them.

Scouting for Food 2014 - Save the Date

In cooperation with the Wellesley Food Pantry, Wellesley Brownies, Daisies, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are participating in the annual National Good Turn, "Scouting for Food." All food they collect will benefit the Wellesley Food Pantry, currently serving over 210 Wellesley households. Residents are asked to fill the plastic Roche Brothers bags dropped at their houses the previous weekend and leave them in a location that is visible from the street before 9 AM on 11/8. Donations may also be brought directly to the Food Pantry.

A Message from the Scout Executive

Scouting volunteers in the Knox Trail Council recently received the following letter from the Scout Executive, Matthew J. Budz:

October 3, 2013

Greetings Scouters,

Hope this note finds you well and in great Scouting spirit.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of canoeing the Saco River up in Maine with my son's troop and a troop out of Wellesley. What a great experience for all of the scouts and leaders, all 60 of us!
