We cannot take any new orders, since we have already ordered wreaths from our supplier. If Canada has been experiencing the same seasonably cold weather as Wellesley, then we should be able to deliver the wreaths the weekend after Thanksgiving, as usual.
Parents, please fill out this survey of ways that you can help the troop. (You can always reach the survey from the "Old Site" tab at the top of the page.)
The handouts from the first troop meeting are listed here and on the activities page.
Print out the attached flyer and bring it to California Pizza Kitchen in Linden Square any time on Wednesday, May 16. They will donate 20% of your check to Troop 185, whether you eat in or take out.
We will be holding swim nights at Babson College pool (in the Webster Center) again this year. Due to the increased popularity of the program we are requiring advance notice this year. All Scouts will need to register for the sessions. Scouts will be taken on a first come basis. You are registered for the session you requested unless you get a phone call or email. All sessions are Wednesday evenings. Arrive by 6:45 so that you can be in the water by 7:00. Expect to be done by 9:00.
John just got an email from the Scoutmaster of the Troop in Wayland. They are going to the BSA Seabase in Marsh Harbor, Bahamas over April vacation this year. They have five spaces open and have invited our Troop to join them if anyone is interested. You need to be 14 or in 9'th grade or older to go. We do not know the cost yet, but probably it is in the $1500–$2000 range. If you are interested, let John now asap. They need to send the money next week to the Seabase.
